Capercaillie & Orr game
During April and May, the spectacular spring festival takes place deep in the Småland forests around Blomstermåla. Nature lovers get up before sunrise to experience this unique spectacle in the forest.
Spring flood in the Alsterån
The melting snow in the Småland highlands creates an impressive spectacle at the Alsterån River. During spring, the river has its strongest flow and highest dynamics of the entire year.
Pike dance & trout play
Spring is the time when pike and trout seek out the shallow tributaries and floodplain forest areas of the Alsterån River. This makes spring the most fascinating season for both anglers and nature observers.
The return of migratory birds
Along the coast of Mönsterås and the wetlands of the Alsterån, the first cranes and migratory birds are arriving. The birdsong and the large flocks in the sky signal that winter is finally over in Småland.
